The Missing Finale
The film club's premiere is about to begin, but the original audio card for its final scene has been moved. Combine a desk log, storage records and a technical report to trace what happened.
Prototype 0.1 · English only · 2–3 adults · cooperative
Everyone is an investigator. There is no game master, acting requirement or hidden traitor. With three players, take A/B/C; with two, one player takes A+C and the other takes B. Keep your role documents separate and exchange evidence by describing, quoting or sketching it. Leave the hints and solution closed until needed.
No installation, printing, cutting or special props are needed. Each player needs a browser and somewhere to write three answers. A timer is optional. All people and events are fictional; there is no violence.
The target is 15–20 minutes, but no human playtest timing is available yet. There is no timed failure. This is a development prototype for testing comprehension and cooperation. Family suitability has not been tested.
AI and checks: Generative AI assisted the creation of the scenario, clues, English instructions, hints, solution, code and cover design. A local programmatic check derived the answer from the role evidence and compared it with the reveal. This does not establish how understandable, enjoyable or balanced the experience is for people. No human playtest or native-speaker language review has been completed.
Start: Launch the free browser prototype. Each player opens the same project page on their own device, then chooses their assigned role. Devices do not synchronise; discuss your evidence together. Three players take A/B/C; two split A+C versus B. Actual phone hardware and Safari have not been tested.
Feedback: After actually playing, each player can make private notes using FEEDBACK before discussing them. One adult can then leave a short, spoiler-free group report in the playtest topic: group size, time, whether you finished before the reveal, hints used, the first confusing instruction and whether exchanging clues changed your reasoning. Do not submit names, emails, recordings or personal details. There is no submission service inside the game.
The feedback sheet includes a separate, optional question about a hypothetical future €3 episode. Consider it only after completing the play and experience feedback. Nothing is being sold, reserved or promised; a stated preference is not a purchase. This prototype is free and asks for no donation.
